Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson visit children at Savannah hospital

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made a splash off the set of “Baywatch” on Saturday as he visited with children at a Savannah, Georgia hospital.
The 43-year-old actor greeted young patients and shared words of encouragement at the Memorial University Medical Center, where he shot a few scenes for his upcoming beach patrol movie.
The action movie icon shared a pair of photos from his visit, including one that showed him fist-bumping a little boy named Aiden.
“Look at the concentration on lil’ Aiden’s face!” he captioned the picture. “And good Lord I wish I had Aiden’s concentration when I was in my high school math classes. I wouldn’t have failed Algebra twice.”

The Rock also ventured upstairs to greet with a teenage fan named Christopher, then shared his moving experience with the boy in a heartfelt photo caption accompanied by an Instagram picture of them chatting.
“I got word from my team that there was a mom who was pleading with our production staff, that I go upstairs to her son’s room to give him a much needed big surprise,” the actor wrote. “Since he’s older he’s in the main hospital and not in pediatric care.”
“Right before I left his mom looked at him and said, ‘Christopher I can’t give you anything, but I’m so happy I could give you this today…’ and she started to breakdown,” he continued. “Made me think to give so much credit to these parents who would do anything to take their kid’s pain away and ANYTHING to bring a smile to their faces.”

Saturday’s hospital visit is the latest kind-hearted gesture by the actor in recent weeks. Earlier this month, The Rockinvited a 7-year-old fannamed Gabriel “Tater” Singleton, who is currently fighting cancer, to the set of “Baywatch.”
The Rock is set to star in the movie as Mitch Buchannon — a role made famous by David Hasselhoff on the original late-80s and ’90s series.
Hasselhoff recently announcedhe’s returning to the lifeguard post for the film adaptation of his classic series as well, though his role is yet to be announced.
Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra and Kelly Rohrbach also star in the highly anticipated blockbuster, which hits theaters on May 19,
