Truck Gets Stuck on Tracks

Around 10:00 pm a call came into Appling 911 about a truck stuck on the Railroad track in Surrency. Deputies arrived to find an  older model Chevy in fact stuck on the tracks. A few people were hanging around stated that the driver had left the scene. Third party conversation from a very inebriated bystander, stated that, “its not my truck but it is my truck, or will be…. whatever.. its a long story dude, anyhow the driver said the throttle stuck wide open an the truck got stuck” Anyhow nobody was going to claiming to be the driver, and all the guys standing around presumably lived right there beside the RR Tracks, so A.C.S.O. had the vehicle towed away.
