New York Gang Member Sentenced in Brunswick for Drug Trafficking

Brooklyn, New York resident Qaaid Reddick has been sentenced to 82 months in prison for attempting to exchange narcotics for firearms. Reddick, who is a known member of the Bloods, and his fellow gang member Brandon Conway, were arrested by undercover ATF agents in a Brunswick hotel room. Their goal had been to obtain weapons to distribute to fellow gang members.
United States Attorney Ed Tarver had this to say: “Georgia is often referred to as a ‘source state’ for out-of-state gang members looking for firearms.  This U.S. Attorney’s Office and our federal and state law enforcement partners will continue to disrupt the illegal pipeline of guns from Georgia to the hands of those peddling drugs, fear and crime in neighborhoods throughout our great nation.”
