Make plans now to attend Appling Christian Academy’s annual auction on Saturday, February 25. The auction will be held at the school located at 1479 Hatch Parkway South in Baxley. The silent auction will be from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, followed by the live auction beginning at 7:00 pm.
A wide array of items and services will be available for bid. Past items have included vacation rentals, pine straw, golf outings, TVs, get away packages, autographed sports memorabilia, car washes, computers, hunting trips, homemade cakes, massages certificates, antiques, pictures, gift certificates to area restaurants and other businesses, tools, jewelry, handcrafted furniture, exercise equipment, loads of dirt, and gift baskets.
Come as early as 6:00 pm and enjoy a delicious grilled chicken supper with all the trimmings for $8.00. There will also be entertainment featuring Appling Christian Students.
This is one of Appling Christian’s major fundraiser of the year. Money raised from previous auctions/dinners have helped make improvements at the school, such as completing the lunchroom kitchen, purchasing new playground equipment, and obtaining the school activity bus.
