The Altama Museum of Art and History in Vidalia is pleased to present “Welcome to Small Grove,” paintings by Henry Lee Gorham. Mr. Gorham’s folk art paintings depict the inhabitants of the fictional town, Small Grove. Viewers will recognize timeless relationships reflected through the simpler life of a bygone era in the images of church revivals, cotton fields and folks “just livin’ they lives.” The show will open Sunday, March 5 and run through Friday, March 17. Opening reception will be Sunday, March 5 from 1 till 4 pm with Gallery Talk by the artist at 2pm. More information is available at 912- 537-1911.
