Sheriff Mark Melton and the Appling County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) will host the 2nd annual Law Enforcement and First Responder Expo. The Expo will be held Friday, April 12, from 11:00 until 2:00 pm, at the Sheriff’s Office.
Over 30 agencies will be represented including the ACSO Detention Center, 911, Search and Rescue Team, K-9 Deputy Cash, Georgia State Patrol S.W.A.T. Team, shooting simulator, air and highway patrol, Georgia Department of Corrections Special Operations and Tactical Team, Georgia Bureau of Investigations Crime Scene Investigation and Bomb Squad Units, Georgia Department of Family Services, Appling Emergency Management Agency, Appling Healthcare Systems, Emergency Room, and Appling Emergency Medical Services, Appling Coroner, Department of Juvenile Justice, Motor Carriers Compliance Division, Coastal Area Traffic Control Network, Department of Natural Resources, Appling Probation, Department of Juvenile Justice, Air Med, local city and county fire departments, Baxley Police Department, Drone Demonstrations and much more.
