Don’t miss the 2nd Annual Screven Benefit Backyard BBQ Cookoff on Saturday, October 19th at Grace Community Park. There are five categories to enter: ribs, pork butts, brisket, chicken, steak.
The entry fee is $20 for each category or $75 for all. Entry forms are available at Screven City Hall. The deadline for entries is October 18th.
BBQ plates will be available for purchase as well as $7.00 leg quarter plates.
All proceeds will go to the parents of Haze Godwin to help with medical expenses.
