Juna Faye Williamson – 79

Juna Faye Williamson, age 79 of Baxley, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 under the care of Southern Care Hospice.
Mrs. Williamson was born June 7, 1940 in Jeff Davis County to the late Rudolph “Pete” Long and the late Lorene Reynolds Long.  She was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church and was a cosmetologist and a Tax Preparer.  Mrs. Williamson was a member of the Cypress Garden Club, Altamaha Homemakers, Appling County Tax Payer Association and the Pilot Club.
Addition to her parents, Ms. Williamson was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Williamson, a daughter, Bernice King, son, George Williamson, brothers, Hilton “Skeeter” Long, Bennett Long and sisters, Jean Carter & Nelda Hartley.
Survivors include her daughters & son in law, Shonna & Lee King, Cindy Williamson and Kim Williamson all of Baxley; a son, David Williamson of Baxley; sister, Patricia Haddock of Hilliard, FL. Seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Conger and a eulogy by Beth Atkinson.
Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Anthony Bryant, Mark King, Joshua King, Terrill Davenport, Koby Williamson and Ricky Carter.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kim Willoughby & Southern Care Hospice, Louise Miller, Shana Moore and Minister Della Wilkerson of Angels with Care, Vivian Griffin, Del Burns and all Warriors of Alzheimer’s & Dementia.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
