Despite recent rumors on Facebook, George Jones is alive and well and touring throughout the rest of the year. Jones will appear on average six to eight more shows for the remainder of the year. In August, George announced that in 2013 he will give his last and farewell tour to his fans, called the "The Grand Tour." This tour will visit approximately 60 cities and will be a tribute to his most loyal fans.
