Europe is calling for Jason Aldean and he's totally ready! He tells Nashville's Tennessean, "This is the first time we've been over there and Lady Antebellum toured over there before, and so people are more familiar with them than us. But we're going over there for that reason — to make people aware of who we are."
Jason is in for a quick trip through customs. The only items on his pack list are a camera and a fanny pack. Jason says, "We'll be over there for 10 days playing in Norway, Sweden, London and Ireland. We'll have a few days off to be a tourist. I'll have my fanny pack and my camera ready. It will be a good time."

Jason, Lady Antebellum, Kip Moore, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert and Brandy Clark are all heading across the pond for the Country to Country concerts in Oslo, Stockholm, Dublin and London. The shows start February 28th in Oslo.

Can you imagine Jason rocking a fanny pack? Yeah, neither can we.

...Gale Warning Outer Waters through Noon Today...
...Small Craft Advisory Inner Waters through Noon Today...

...Elevated Fire Danger due to Winds and Low Humidity Today...

...Hard Freeze Warning Tonight...
.
Synopsis & Timing

A dramatically colder and bitter air mass funneled over the area last night trailing the passage of a dry cold front. Record cold temperatures are forecast today and tonight.

Impacts

Today:

After freezing temperatures this morning and biting wind chills in the teens to near 20 degrees, high temperatures will only rise into the 40s today despite full sun. Elevated winds will create wind chill in the 30s through much of the day.

Tonight:

A hard freeze warning is in effect tonight for all areas as temperatures fall below freezing shortly after sunset. Low temperatures Friday morning will range from the teens in normally colder locations inland to the mid 20s toward the Atlantic coast. Winds will be less compared to this morning with speeds around 5-10 mph. A wind chill advisory may be needed early Friday morning with wind chills in the teens along the Atlantic coast. Due to winds remaining elevated tonight, frost is not expected.

Marine Impacts:

Gusts to gale force are expected to impact the outer waters (20 NM-60 NM offshore) through midday today, while the near shore waters will have sustained speeds of 20 knots and a Small Craft Advisory is in effect. Winds and seas will decrease into the afternoon, but a Small Craft Advisory is expected for the outer waters through tonight.

Fire Impacts:
Although conditions are not expected to meet Red Flag criteria today, gusty NW winds, high dispersions and very low humidity could support fire growth.

Please call us directly with any specific questions and/or concerns for your local area.

Good Morning Partners:

...Wind Advisory Today for portions of SE GA...
...Small Craft Advisory...
...Freeze Warnings Tonight with Low Wind Chills...
...Hard Freeze Watch Thursday Night...

Synopsis & Timing
A dry cold front will push south of the local area this evening trailed by a very cold air mass. Temperatures will fall below freezing by midnight tonight with a widespread freeze expected for inland areas through sunrise Thursday morning. Winds will remain elevated through the night tonight with wind chills as low as the teens inland to lower 20s and a wind chill advisory may be needed.

Impacts:

Windy Today:

Windy west winds will develop by the afternoon ahead of the approaching front. The strongest speeds are expected over portions of inland SE Ga, and a wind advisory has been issued.

Freezing Temperatures & Wind Chills Tonight & Thursday:
Temperatures will plummet to freezing across many inland locations by midnight tonight. A hard freeze warning is in effect where minimum temperatures will fall below 27 deg for over 2 hours, and a freeze warning is in effect for locations that will fall below 32 deg for at least 2 hours. Winds will remain elevated preventing frost formation, but wind chills are expected to range from the teens over inland areas to the lower 20s toward the coast. A very cold and blustery start Thursday morning.
Thursday despite sunny skies, temperatures will struggle to break 40 degrees over SE Ga and near the mid/upper 40s southward toward Ocala. Very cold temperatures Thursday night will fall into the lower 20s inland to near 30 toward the coast, and a hard freeze watch is in effect for all areas. Normally cooler locales may even have minimum temperatures in the upper teens.

A light freeze is possible over inland areas Friday night, then temperatures will rebound above freezing this weekend.

Marine Impacts:

Small craft advisory conditions will develop over the waters today. Gusts to gale force are possible tonight.

Fire Impacts:

Drier air, windy conditions and high dispersions could support an elevated fire danger today.
