New Filming Regulations Proposed by Tybee Island City Officials

Citing interruption to their citizens’ daily life and interference with tourism, city officials of Tybee Island have announced their intention to change the current process for granting filming permits. Beaches being closed during peak tourism season is a major concern, as nearby businesses may suffer significant revenue loss.
A proposal that will limit when and where filming can take place has been made and is being shown to local business owners.
