Sam Hunt’s scheduled performance at next month’s NASCAR Awards has been canceled in the wake of his recent DUI arrest. The Tennessean reports that Hunt had been booked since September to play the December 5 event, which will be held at Nashville’s Music City Center. But on Monday, the official NASCAR Twitter account revealed that Chris Janson would perform at the event, seemingly in Hunt’s place. Meanwhile, local authorities in Nashville have released the audio from several 911 calls that came in last week in response to Hunt’s drunk driving. One caller told a 911 dispatcher that Hunt was “driving like there was nothing wrong [and] almost hit me head-on,” while another said he was “on the wrong side” of the road.
