Update – Arrest Made in Bacon County, GA Shooting Investigation Alma, GA—
On April 6, 2016, the GBI’s Douglas Regional Office and Bacon County Sheriff’s office arrested Sheila Lee Futch, age 53, wife of Kenneth Futch. Sheila Futch was charged with one count of Aggravated Assault. Futch was transported to the Bacon County Sheriff’s office.
On Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at approximately 8:30 PM, deputies with the Bacon County Sheriff’s Office responded to 216 Port’s End Lane, Alma, Bacon County Georgia in reference to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies found Kenneth Futch suffering from gunshot wounds. Futch was transported to the Bacon County Hospital and later flown to Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida where he is in stable condition.
