Yesterday, a man was found deceased in his room in Jesup’s Red Carpet Inn. He was identified as Arthur Westberry. Earlier today, the GBI, working with Jesup Police, arrested Jesse Strickland in connection with the 70-year-old man’s death. In addition to murder charges, Strickland will be prosecuted for armed robbery.
