The SCMPD announced that a 15-year-old male juvenile has been taken into custody for a shooting that occurred at approximately 11:00 am on September 5. The shooting, which happened on East 41 Street in Savannah, critically wounded a 16-year-old male.
The shooter, whose name has not been publicly released, will faces several charges, including aggravated assault, aggravated battery, first-degree cruelty to children, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
The victim in the case was taken to Memorial University Medical Center. His condition is stable, but still critical.
