UPDATE: SAVANNAH, GA (September 18, 2017) – Jaheim Morris, 16, has succumbed to his injuries. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation. Investigators do not believe this to be a random shooting.

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating a shooting that was reported on September 17.
At about 1:20 a.m., officers responded to a local hospital in reference to a shooting victim. A 16-year-old male arrived at the hospital by private vehicle with life-threatening injuries.
