On April 16th, a man attempted to rob Alma’s Dairy Queen at gunpoint. He fired a round inside the restaurant and then fled on foot. No one was injured, as the bullet only struck a trashcan. On Thursday, Alma Police Arrested 26-year-old Terry Lamar Simms. He is expected to face charges of armed robber, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
