EGSC to hold Spring Commencement Ceremony

East Georgia State College will hold their Spring Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 6 p.m. in the Gymnasium. Speaker for the event will be Denny Key, while the alumni speaker will be Sara Young and the student representative will be Krystal Perry.
Denny Key, a native of Swainsboro, graduated from Swainsboro High School in 1966. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Business Administration – Marketing Degree from the University of Georgia in 1970. He served in the United States Air Force from 1970 – 1973, and worked at Citizens Bank of Swainsboro until his retirement.
Swainsboro native Sara Young is a 2010 graduate of East Georgia State College and is currently employed as Student Affairs Communication Specialist in Enrollment Management at EGSC. Prior to changing career paths, Young worked in healthcare in Patient Access for ten years at Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro and Navicent Health in Byron.
Student representative Krystal Perry is the President of East Georgia State College’s Student Government Association. A native of Hinesville, she is a General Studies major at EGSC and plans to pursue her Bachelor’s in Nursing. Her goal is to become a travel nurse. In her free time, she enjoys shopping and doing makeup. East Georgia State College looks forward to celebrating all of our graduates!
