SAVANNAH, GA (October 2, 2018) – Savannah Police Department Financial Crimes detectives are seeking the public’s help locating a woman who attempted to cash a forged check.
On September 18 at around 10 a.m., Asia Cooper, 25, went to a package shop on the 2500 block of Bay Street and attempted to cash a forged check, but was unsuccessful.
Cooper is described as a 5-foot-7 black female, weighing around 180 pounds. She is known to frequent the 6800 block of Skidaway Road.
Anyone with information on her location is asked to call detectives at (912) 651-6735. Information may also be forwarded to CrimeStoppers at (912) 234-2020. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
