TIU Investigates Fatal Accident Involving City of Savannah Employee

SAVANNAH, GA (January 10, 2019) – Savannah Police’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating a fatal accident on Jan. 9 that resulted in the death of a City of Savannah employee.
About 3:45 p.m. officers responded to the city lot on Sycamore Drive and discovered an employee with the City of Savannah’s Public Works & Water Resources Department deceased.
The employee was identified as Peter Solomon, 62.
