Recently, there have been multiple incidents in Appling County and surrounding counties involving counterfeit bills. If you see a bill with Chinese writing on it, be aware that the bill is counterfeit. Intentionally spending counterfeit currency is a felony. If you have what you believe to be counterfeit currency, turn it over to the police.
