Alan Jackson announced last month that he’s heading back out on tour in 2020, and now he’s revealed the rising country star who will serve as his opening act: Tenille Townes. MusicRow reports that Townes “will join him at most shows on the tour,” while other opening slots on the trek will “showcase some of Jackson’s favorite talents who play at AJ’s Good Time Bar, his honky tonk located on Nashville’s Lower Broadway.” The tour kicks off January 10 in Cincinnati and makes stops in such cities as Atlanta, New Orleans, Fort Worth, Nashville, Detroit, Salt Lake City, and Milwaukee before wrapping up on October 3 with a show in Denver. Tickets for many tour stops are on sale now, with additional shows going on sale this Friday.
