The famous letter-turner had to step in for host Pat Sajak after he had emergency surgery for a blocked intestine. She only had one dry run before filming started, and while she had a few minor missteps, she was able to poke fun at herself. “Oh no, I’m looking at the wrong arrow,” she said at one point. “How do you do this show?” White will be hosting the show for three weeks while Sajak recovers from his medical procedure. Now that she’s hosting, the letter-turners will be Mickey and Minnie Mouse for two weeks; the third week’s stand-ins will be revealed on their first day.
