A message from the Appling County Board of Commissioners,
As of 12:00 pm Friday, May 1, 2020, Lake Mayer’s boat ramp will be opened to the public for fishing.
All recreational activities such as skiing, tubing, and gatherings of ten or more people continue to be prohibited and will be enforced by the Appling County Sheriff’s Office and others. The Board of Commissioners will reevaluate opening for recreational activities at a later date.
