Riot at Ware State Prison

UPDATE (10:48 am): According to an updated statement, it is believed that two staff members and three prisoners were injured in the altercation. No details have been released regarding what caused the incident.
UPDATE (3:04 am): According to a statement by officials, “two staff members received minor, non-life-threatening injuries and there are no reported inmate injuries at this time.”
UPDATE (2:20 am): Reports are coming from Ware County officials that the situation is now under control.
BREAKING: Prisoners have overtaken guards at Ware State Prison in Waycross. There are reports of active shooters and several fires have broken out. Prisoners are loose in the area. Authorities are working to bring the situation under control.
