On Tuesday, December 15th, shortly before 10:00 pm, Wayne County deputies responded to a shooting on Fender Road in Jesup.
Witnesses stated that an altercation had occurred over marijuana that was owed to someone. A person at the scene opened fire, hitting and killing 17-year-old Lester Denison.
