It was a true blessing to have our students give back to our community by creating “thank you” cards for Appling Healthcare and our medical providers in Appling County! Education entails many components, but one of the most important is teaching our students to give back to others. We asked our students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade to create these cards to thank our frontline medical providers in our community. Overall, the district received approximately 730 cards that were all unique! We displayed these beautiful cards in the conference room and encouraged staff who needed a lift for the day to go down and read what the students had written! It truly blessed our hearts to read all of the wonderful messages our students wrote to our health care providers.
