Baxley Lions Club to Install Pastor Lester Weldon as Honorary Member

On Monday evening, October 11^th, at 6:00 p.m.,  the Baxley Lions Club will install Pastor Lester Weldon as an Honorary Member of the local Lions Club and of the Lions Clubs International Foundation. One of the 5 Core Projects of LCIF is feeding the hungry. That’s what Pastor Weldon does and what he has been doing for 20 years!
He will also be made a Melvin Jones Fellow. This is the highest award that Lions Clubs can give.
The public is invited to this ceremony. Please plan to arrive early. The local chapter of the Lions Club is located at 245 Industrial Drive in Baxley. Covid-19 precautions will be observed! Masks must be worn to enter the building.
When all of the socially-separated chairs are filled inside, late-comers will have to remain outside to offer Pastor Weldon their congratulations.
