
Two-Week Event Features The Harlem Globetrotters and Fireworks
VALDOSTA, Ga. – Wild Adventures Theme Park is celebrating America’s Independence for two weeks by offering free admission for active and retired military, performances from the Harlem Globetrotters, and patriotic fireworks displays during the Celebrate America Festival.
“At Wild Adventures, we feel it’s incredibly important to honor and recognize the men and women who have served our country,” said Jon Vigue, general manager. “We’re offering military free admission and discounted admission for their families to enjoy thrilling rides, Splash Island Waterpark, amazing performances, and more.”
Military Admission Details:
· Dates: Now through July 7
· Eligibility: All active, retired, disabled, and honorably discharged military with a valid military ID or DD-214 form
· Offer: Free admission for military members; $10 off single-day admission for guests in a military member’s party
Event Highlights:
· Fireworks Spectacular: Patriotic fireworks displays on July 4, 5, and 6 at 9 p.m., set to music.
· Harlem Globetrotters: Performances on July 5, 6, and 7 at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. at the Wild Adventures LIVE! Amphitheater. Included with park admission or a Season Pass. Seating is first-come, first-serve.
“More than just free admission, we are offering some great entertainment during our Celebrate America Festival this year, including The Original Harlem Globetrotters’ Summer Skills Showcase and, of course, no Independence Day celebration is complete without a Fireworks Spectacular,” said Vigue.
The Harlem Globetrotters, renowned for their ball-handling skills, fun teamwork, and trick-shot mastery, will perform three times daily on July 5, 6, and 7. These performances promise to amaze guests and provide plenty of laughs.
