UPDATE (2:20 am): Reports are coming from Ware County officials that the situation is now under control.
BREAKING: Prisoners have overtaken guards at Ware State Prison in Waycross. There are reports of active shooters and several fires have broken out. Prisoners are loose in the area. Authorities are working to bring the situation under control.
