The Appling County Pirate Football Team defeated Statesboro in an away game on Friday night, winning by a score of 34-7. This marks the first time the Pirates have ever defeated Statesboro in Statesboro. The Pirates are now 3-0 in the season. They play Wayne County on October 9th.
