Jerry Don Copeland, age 76, of Baxley passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Appling Healthcare.
Mr. Copeland was born January 3, 1946 in Appling County to the late Lawrence Copeland the late Fanny Marie Hendricks Copeland. He attended Riverside Baptist Church and was owner & operator of Copeland Mobile Home Movers. Mr. Copeland was preceded in death by his daughter, Katrina Copeland Wood and six siblings.
Survivors include his daughters, Crystal Copeland and Sheena (Josh) Altman all of Baxley; sons, Allen (Tammy) Copeland of Brunswick, Kelly (Becky) Teston and Gary (Jessica) Covington all of Baxley; a brother, Johnnie (Betty) Copeland of Baxley. Twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Justin McLellan and Rev. Rick Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Appling Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Kevin Black, Ronnie Black, Gary Mathis, Keith Davis, Kip Davis and Tim Copeland.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends in attendance.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
