Michael Thomas “Mike” Hall, age 66, of Baxley passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah.
Mike was born August 25, 1957 in Appling County to the late John Thomas “J. T.” Hall and the late Inez Poole Hall. He was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church and was employed with Southern Company at Plant Hatch for 32 years as a supervisor.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Deen Hall of Baxley; daughter, Nicole (Adam) Smith of Baxley; three grandchildren, Tucker Tillman, Autumn Smith, and Audriana Smith; sister, Charlotte Hall of Pensacola, FL; brother, Larry (Marilyn) Hall of Baxley; mother-in-law, Pat (Tom) Heath of Baxley; brother-in-law, Lamar (Lisa) Deen of Baxley; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Elder Jerry Lightsey, Rev. Ron Ross officiating and a eulogy by Danny Smith. Interment will follow in Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Josh Deen, Tyler Avera, Monroe Crosby, Tucker Tillman, Corbett Bowen, and Doug Hall.
Honorary pallbearers will be Plant Hatch past & present employees, Mickey Craven, Dale Smith, Doug Harris, Leslie Deen, Henry Branch, Randy Roberson, J. J. Vaughn, Gary Thomas, Keith Davis, Doug Harrison, Jerry Mattox, Kevin Ware, Spin Joyner, Calvin Burdett, Farris Dyal, Tommy King, Jim Beck, Frank Gorley, Billy Vaughn, Mitchell Stidham and Jody Ridlehoover.
The visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
