Blake Shurling lost his life in a shooting in Statesboro this morning. Police responded to a call at approximately 2:20 am, arriving at a Planters Lane address where they found Shurling deceased.
Coleton Weatherford was arrested in connection with Shurling’s death. He will face charges of manslaughter, recklessness, and use of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol, which police say was a contributing factor in the shooting.
