On Monday, October 31, the SCMPD responded to a shots fired call on Stillwood Drive at approximately 2:15 pm. At the scene, they found 67-year-old Marcus Wilkinson deceased from a gunshot wound.
According to a press release by the SCMPD, a preliminary investigation, “did not suggest any foul play,” indicating that the incident is believed to be a suicide.
An autopsy will be conducted.
